What it an apostille? Apostille is the stamp provided for the official documents issued by the official bodies of member-countries of  the Hague Convention (October 5th,1961) which abolished the demand for legalization of foreign documents. Do you have to make apostille? Apostille is made for the documents below: 1) Civil status documents (like birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, death certificate, registering departments issued docs) 2) Education documents (diplomas, certificates, attachments) 3) For the notary certified copies: а) tax bodies issued docs. б) Corporate Charter в) Former Soviet Union Republics issued docs before January 1st, 1992 4) For originals: а) applications b) condemnations c) power of attorney d) notary acts (except for the copies of corporate bodies’ docs)
